It has been a crazy week in the travel biz. Please heed this warning and return to Canada as soon as possible. I just came across this group tonight and think it’s incredible. Basically, travelers connect with their local NJT chapter (such as the one in Toronto) and arrange to deliver medical supplies to communities in need around the world. It’s all official and seems to be well organized with appropriate documentation so travelers don’t encounter issues checking bags or at customs. Even if you aren’t up for delivering a bag yourself, this group can make use of your old luggage tha...t was destined for the trash. I would love to hear of similar groups you might know about. Would you help by delivering a bag on your next trip? Would you donate your old luggage?
