He weighs 1920lbs today and measures 42cm. His dam is recognized as one of the top young Bank Note daughters in our Angus herd. Lot 631 has froze semen for in herd use.

The 2020 potato harvest wrapped up today! Thankful for a great crew and great weather and looking forward to shipping in spring 2021!

Harvest is in full swing at Lewis Farms. With that we were able to find time to wean the January born bull calves this past week. Prior to weaning we got a chance to picture some matrons alongside their boys. LFE 138A is a Poker Face, 3/4 blood cow. Calf at side is a Riddler son weaning off at 1090lbs.

Yesterday was a tough one here at LFE. We are absolutely heartbroken to announce the passing of Pops Jack Lewis. Even at the age of 88, you would still be hard pressed not to see Jack at the farm on a daily basis, wearing some likely tattered clothes, that big signature grin of his, and always happy to chat. His passion for all things agriculture was undeniable. His love for friends and family was unconditional. Pops Jack leaves a legacy that will be remembered forever. Alw...ays striving for excellence, and pushing us to be at our best whether it was on, or off the farm. Even though another 88 years would not have been enough time with him. We are extremely fortunate to have had such a prolific man as such a big part of our lives, for as long as we did. He has filled our hearts with the fondest of memories that will forever be cherished. There is no question we would not be where we are today without Pops Jack, he was truly the heart and soul of this operation. In our eyes the greatest man to ever live. A husband, a father, a grandfather, a great grandfather, a brother, an uncle and a friend to so very many. From all of us, we love you Pops Jack. Forever.
