Our hand-rolled meatballs contain 58% pork, 37% beef, and 5% eggs, breadcrumbs, garlic, & seasoning. Shown are meatballs in mushroom gravy. At approximately 16 18 cooked meatballs per pound, they should feed 4 adults as a side or one 17 year-old man-child, who probably won’t consider touching the beautiful vegetable dishes or salad you slaved over making and even when you explain that the meatballs are meant for everyone to enjoy and that they should let their younger siblings have some, they don’t listen, and then you realize that you will likely have to buy double the amount next timeoh wait. Nevermind!

One of the more frequently asked questions we get is how to serve Cottage Cheese Pierogis ("Glums Wareniki" for all of our Mennonite friends). We think they are best enjoyed boiled and served with a generous ladle of butter & sour cream sauce and some "not too sweet" preserve. We had blueberries available when we took this picture, so that is what we used...but you do you! We'd love to have your suggestions for how to best enjoy them.

When we started on Skip the Dishes and DoorDash, we did not presume that this dish would be our #1 seller...but it has become a fan favourite for first time and repeat orders.
