We LOVE to RUN, RUN, RUN RUN!!! The children were looking for a race track for...you guessed it, RUNNING. A team effort in moving our logs and driftwood to create and outline a perfect running space around the outdoor play area free of obstacles. All sunshine and giggles on this spring-like day!

EAGLES, RAVENS, TURKEY VULTURES, OH MY!! Have you seen and heard the activity at Little Bears? We have been awe inspired by the natural beauty of these majestic birds who have been circling around us for the past couple of weeks. FOREST is 'FOR REST' It has been very busy these last few months and we all need to allow ourselves to take the time to sit, breathe and take in the beauty and stillness around us. We are SO very fortunate that the last few weeks the toddler programs (Cub House and Bear Den) have been able to explore and immerse themselves in our surrounding forests. We have found new paths with wonderful surprises along the way (check out the fireplace in the woods!!) And have continued our journey of appreciation for the natural world.

If you ordered Purdy chocolates this year they are all packaged and ready for pick up in the Cub House (Meredith, Shannon or Mellisa can help you). Thank you SO much for your support.

An email has been sent out to all our Little Bears families. The impossible decision has been made to temporarily close a program until we can retain more qualified Educators. Never have we seen times like these and my heart breaks as I send this message. Please be kind and compassionate during these uncertain days of COVID 19. Thank you. Lexie

Our Pro D Day is on Monday, October 26th and we will be in deep discussion over many topics; including our part in the $10 dollar a day Pilot project, and outdoor napping practices at Little Bears! Good morning Little Bears families! Please check your email for our most recent and newly updated Health and Wellness policy. Some of the changes are around the return to school times which we have updated to 48 hours once symptom free. Also, the payment section has been updated to include the new policy around fee refunds if we were to close our doors due to a positive Covid 19 case. I appreciate everyone who has reached out to me over the past weeks with their question...s and comments. We are staying updated and educated as new information is presented to us through the BCCDC.
