Baby bump mamas! Need ideas on what to wear for your photo session?! Don't be afraid to show off that baby bump in the style that you love!!! This can be in a long beautiful dress, in jeans with a shirt, or even some boudoir maternity photos (but those are clearly not taken in the snow... ). Everything is an option. Don’t limit yourself! We can even do photos in multiple outfits too.

Never be afraid of trying new things - especially when it comes to photos!!!! Maybe throwing snow at your photographer could do something great, or piss them off. Who knows. Might as well try, right? (I'm clearly the type who ENCOURAGES you to throw things at my face for cool pics by the way)

Little studio update! Since the lockdown was announced, I decided to take advantage of it and ran to Home Depot to stock up on paint & brushes. So happy to say that I am 90% done with repainting my studio white! It’s Benjamin Moore’s Chantilly Lace, if anyone is wondering. ... I’m now in the dark hole that I call Pinterest to find inspiration for my decorations, while scouring Facebook marketplace to find preowned pieces to avoid buying new. This is so so fun, but my praise goes to my favourite home interior designers, @olive.oakdecor and @aloma_homestaging_design - there’s a reason why it’s worth every penny to hire experts in this! I decided to challenge myself to learn as much as I could and have been doing it solo right now, but I’ll be calling these ladies anyday now when I decide to give up Anybody else in renovations right now?!

This is to visually show off what you do! Etc : anything you can think of! These props are the best way to create engaging photos. It will be easy for your clients to see your brand within seconds, and establish your message quicker.

I'm definitely one of those people that stares down the sunset every chance we get. I love seeing the different colors in the sky.... and I'm happy that they're starting to be later than 3:30 pm!

I had these two lovely ladies in my studio a few weeks ago to get their portraits done. I took the opportunity to shoot on several backdrops, trying new lighting techniques and really try to create dramatic yet joyful portraits of them. Rather than by bright and colourful editing, I made them a bit darker, moody as some would say. I’m loving the look of them : it’s such genuine photos! ... Would you ever book a personal portrait session? If you haven’t, what’s stopping you?

Happy Monday!!!! Man, I wish I could go back to hiking and capturing elopements in the summer heat right now. But hey, might as well lace up my skates and appreciate what winter has to offer! I tried skiing for the first time in my LIFE this year and I've always had a big love for figure skating. What's your go-to winter thing to do?

Sending lots of LOVE, happiness, and good vibes all around. ... 2021 might be another challenge for all of us, but hey, we have 2020 under our belts, so WE GOT THIS Have you taken the time to make your 2021 Bucket List?! It takes 5 minutes, put it in your phone so it does not get lost, or write it by hand on a piece of paper and tape it to a wall that you see often (that’s what I do!). I put mine in my office or by my closet so I am constantly reminded of what my goals are! It keeps me so motivated I’d love to know what’s on your bucket list for this year! Here is mine : 1. Photograph more of my personal moments, family members and friends to capture those I love most. 2. Take a class to further educate myself in something I love 3. Play more games and take more time to have fun! 4. Launch my podcast ASAP! 5. Start offering online photography courses (!!!!) 6. Focus on creating amazing photo shoot experiences, especially one on one portraits! 7. Offer as much empathy and help that I can for couples and events that need to be rescheduled, due to circumstances out of their control 8. HAVE MORE ENERGY 9. Give back to my community in every way I can!!!!! 10. I have the GOAL to become a source of information and inspiration for anyone seeking the route of entrepreneurship!!! I want to keep sharing my experiences and help motivate anyone who has crazy ideas that they want to bring to life. I have an insane passion for motivating those who have incredible minds but not enough push to GO FOR IT. I want to spend more of my time helping new entrepreneurs to make their dreams a reality, either as their side-hustle or full time thing. It’s badass to see someone just doing it!!!! Wishing you a beautiful Monday in this new blanket of snow!!! Want to know what I love the most about newborn sessions?! The best part of doing the in-home newborn sessions, is the in between takes. Giving the bottle, nursing your baby, cuddles to reassure them. Those are the photos you might not post on social media, but you definitely love to have. After all, it’s a massive part of taking care of your new baby and every photo documenting their arrival will have meani...ng to you! For me, it gives me down time when you need to nurse or bottle feed to just chat with you. Everyone who’s done a newborn session with me knows that I love hearing how the birth went and your experience through it all. Everyone’s story is so incredibly different, and it’s fascinating for me to hear and learn through what you’ve lived. I swear one day I could write a book of all the stories!
