Hello Homeowners, We are very excited to pass along the news that Lighthouse Point resident Eleanor Burke has been chosen to receive the Order of Collingwood for her tireless work for the Collingwood community, in particular for her efforts on behalf of the ongoing preservation of our beloved lighthouse. Eleanor writes the following: "I am honoured to have been awarded the Order of Collingwood for my contribution toward the restoration of our lighthouse. I accept this recogn...ition on behalf of all Lighthouse Point residents who so generously contributed their LCBO and Beer Store empties for three years. You helped raise over $17,000! Kudos and heartfelt thanks to all my LHP friends and neighbours. Sincerely, Eleanor Burke" The award will be bestowed at the Mayor’s New Year’s Levee (to be held remotely in early 2021).
