Folks; a breakdown of where Goldie and I will be over the next three weeks. For the majority reading this, Ottawa and area people, if you don't mind, please indicate which of the three Ottawa events you might attend. hey folks; as some of you may have heard or now noticed here, I'm going to use this page to promote my fourth book, due to be released March 21. If you ordered an advance copy you should have it next week. Sorry for the delay. I wrote the life story of the man who was the impetus for the character Ogie Oglethorpe in the movie Slap Shot; his real name, Goldie Goldthorpe. I believe it's the most unique story in professional sports history. Why? Well, there's no way to try and soften this blow-he's regarded historically as the world's most violent athlete. I do believe if you give the book a chance you'll see he mostly fought for the right reasons but there's no way around it - it's a violent story. here's the link to the promo video I did for the book.. More to come, thank you. https://vimeo.com/309137814

Although not a political missive, I'll put this here for those of you who may be interested. My 4th book is available via pre-sale on line. The link is posted here if you'd like to check it out. It's not for the faint of heart, bit of a rough story on a crazy hockey player from the 1970's. Buckle up for the storm tomorrow, everybody stay safe. All the best, Liam http://burnstownpublishing.com/product/the-real-olgie/

I went to the candidates debate in Osgoode last Thursday September 13, 2018. . Significantly smaller crowd than ours four years ago, then again, we were eleven running in that election. Crazy when you think of it. Our introductions took close to 40 minutes. Couple of comments about last week...Continue reading
