The holidays are looking different for 2020. Many of the clients I've been seeing are struggling with the sadness and grief that comes with how different 20...20 has been while also trying to hold onto gratitude and hope. You can be BOTH grateful and grieving. You can acknowledge and validate your sadness, while also trying to make the lemonade out of lemons. There are many types of grief we experience in life and when you've lost someone dear to you the use of the word grief can be hurtful when describing things that can't compare to your loss.
