Look who stopped by for a visit today! We were lucky to spend some time with the adorable Loki and Ivy this afternoon. Did you know that spending time with pets, especially cats and dogs, can reduce stress, anxiety, depression, blood pressure, and ease loneliness?

This week, LYC Staff and Residents enjoyed learning and connecting with horses. It was an amazing experience and enjoyed by all who attended. LYC would like to extend a huge Thank-you to Alana Dahms and Lori Neufeld for volunteering their horses and making this day memorable for all as well as the Lloydminster Exhibition Association for the use of their riding ring.

We love Animal Therapy days! Animals can help deal with stress, lower anxiety, and pull you out of a depressed mood. Thanks to Cindy Gratton for donating her time and her pets!
