Need an easy and nutritious snack for children and even adults? Try these kale chips! They are high in vitamin K and folate. INGREDIENTS (4 cups): 1 large bundle curly green kale, rinsed, dried, destemmed, teared into large pieces 1 tbsp vegetable oil... 1 tsp garlic powder 14 tsp sea salt STEPS: 1. Preheat oven to 300F. 2. Add kale to a large mixing bowl and drizzle with oil. Toss thoroughly to combine. 3. Spread kale over 2 large baking sheets, make sure to leave space in between kale to help them crisp while baking. Sprinkle with garlic powder and sea salt evenly. 4. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Turn the baking sheets around and bake for 8 to 10 more minutes, or until kale is crispy and slightly golden brown. Watch closely as they can burn easily. 5. Transfer kale to the cooling rack and let cool completely. Kale will crisp up more once cooled. Best to enjoy fresh out of the oven. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 to 3 days.
