The Liburdi Dimetrics J-Groove Weld Head is designed for complex geometry welds, such as the joint between BMI Nozzles and the PWR Vessel. The head rotates around the nozzle in a motion generated by synchronization of multiple servos. The FireView software allows to define the weld path through graphical interface, based on the geometry; or directly, by teaching points along the path. The software does the work while cameras monitor the progress. The camera images, the telem...etry data and the process controls are available to the operator through the FireView remote console.
