One of our favourite worship songs to sing at Life and Restoration Anglican Missionary Church. Songwriter/singer Matt Redman ministers to thousands in the middle of New York City, USA this past summer.

Purpose defines direction and behaviour. Samson the strong; as we were taught to refer him in our grade schools' religious moral lessons, was born to parents who were given specific instructions on the rule of life and conduct for the unborn child. To ensure that they got it right, his parents asked for a second angelic visit to clarify the instructions. The angel returns and reiterates those rules for raising the child. At the end of his lecture, the angel warned them to ens...ure strict compliance to the rules because the child has a mission; he will begin to deliver Israel. Sampson grow up to become extremely powerful, possessing extraordinary strength. Among other things, his hair was left deadlocked and was never cut. This was just a symbol of the extraordinary lifestyle and the routine he maintained which would ultimately lead him into his mission. Every extraordinary life or achiever maintains extraordinary lifestyle designed to systematically and ultimately lead to the mission or purpose for that life. Life is no mystery, it is predictable and guided by rules or principles. What life is lived strictly according principles specific for the mission and purpose cut out for it, there will be full and fulfilled outcomes with great achievement and lasting impacts. To the extent to which diligence is exercised to live after the manner defined for the mission, to that extent success is guaranteed. Finally, the grace of God or divine helps is both foundational and enhancing. At Life and Restoration Anglican Missionary Church, we further explore and expound on these princple.
