Morning Motivation SEAL POSE... Start by lying on your stomach. Bring your palms flat on your mat...adjust your hand distance away from your body based on what feels comfortable for your lower back. Hands can come closer to your body to reduce tension in your lower back. Arms should be shoulder wide apart. Your neck can be in a neutral position, or gently you can drop the head back (stimulates the thyroid). Time in pose: 3 to 5 minutes. To come out of the pose: gently lower the chest onto your mat and head to your mat. You can turn your head to one side or place your hands underneath your forehead. Repeat on the other side. BENEFITS Stimulates the Adrenals. Stimulates the Thyroid gland (when head is leaning backwards). MERIDIANS Urinary bladder Stomach CONTRAINDICATED Pregnancy Back issues Neck issues
