Today is International Overdose Awareness Day and we just got a shipment of naloxone kits. If you and your team would like to get trained on how to use naloxone, DM us and we’ll make it happen! You never know when you’re going to need to save a life!

A HUGE THANK YOU to the Lifeguard Outreach Society, the Water Wise Team from the Lifesaving Society, the Riondel Campsite, and all the participants who cam...e to our Swim to Survive and Naloxone training sessions over the past 5 days! This was an amazing collaboration which reached several people along Kootenay Lake, teaching them first aid skills, basic skills to swim to survive a fall into water, and Naloxone. Next week is National Drowning Prevention Week. Stop by the Creston and District Community Complex 2:00-3:30pm between July 21st - July 27th to join our talented aquatics team in Swim to Survive sessions! We will also be offering Junior Lifeguard Club Camp & Bronze Star in Riondel this summer. Check out page 7 in our summer leisure guide for more information!
