The safety of women & children facing abuse, as well as the safety of shelter workers, are our top priorities. We are following the Government of Alberta and Al...berta Health Services protocols. We know that in these times of high anxiety and stress there has been an increase in family violence emergencies and not everyone is safe at home. We want you to know that we continue to be here for you. Our shelter remains open with all of the Covid-19 safety measures in place and our youth and adult Outreach Workers continue to find safe and innovative ways to connect with their clients. We encourage anyone facing immediate danger to call 911. If you suspect that someone’s life may be in danger, please call 911. Alright you guys..... we didn't want to, but in light of the new restrictions and even lower in store counts, we have made the hard decision to shut down Christ...mas at Deep Creek a week early. So this weekend will be our last. :-( PLEASE COME THIS WEEKEND.. let's help our vendors have a sell out. We still have lots of 12 Days of Christmas draws to do too! We have hot dogs, hot chocolate, coffee, baking, cabbage rolls and many beautiful items still there! We have IN STORE LIMITS OF 4 SHOPPERS. There will be a fire outside for any lineups, and the weather looks decent. We will be open Thursday afternoon 2-5, and regular hours Friday, (11-7) Saturday (11-6) and Sunday. Or, be patient and enjoy the mild weather and a warm drink while you wait. - Forget about filling everyone's exact wish lists, and instead explore our local shops for things you never knew you never knew... - Found something cool/creative/impactful? SHARE THAT FABULOUSNESS AND LOVE! Tell someone, post it on your social media, let the RAVES loose! - If you're not keen on take out, restaurant gift certificates are a great gift idea (for yourself or someone else!) but also having someone else cook your lunch or dinner is a treat!
