Christmas Greetings from Chris Brooks and a Lifeline Malawi Update
The fourth Sunday of Advent, we focus on LOVE. Oh the things we do for LOVE . The Brooks family arrived in Malawi on December 14, 1998. It was a deep LOVE of the Malawian people and a great desire to help others that founded Lifeline Malawi. And now over 20 years later, LOVE continues to fuel the work being done each and every day at the clinic. The staff are propelled to serve the people of Ngodzi and the patients witness first hand the way that LOVE is shown. Lifeline Malawi exists to bring healing and hope. Lifeline Malawi is able to LOVE so generously because of Jesus who first LOVED us. Would you consider partnering in this labour of LOVE and supporting Lifeline Malawi? The third week of Advent, we focus on JOY. Malawi is known as the warm heart of Africa. This is evident in the faces of the staff that work so tirelessly at Lifeline Malawi. Their joy is contagious. For many, life is hard in Malawi, and in spite of the struggles, there is JOY. At Lifeline, we see JOY in the care of nurses, the attention to detail in the grounds crew, the youth program sewing masks and in sport victories. During this season, would you help to spread JOY by making a donation to Lifeline Malawi? Please visit www.lifelinemalawi.com JOY to the World! The Lord has come, let every heart prepare Him room! #advent #joy #malawi
The second week of Advent we focus on PEACE. From the early morning fishers, the women cleaning and bathing to the smiling faces of children at the clinic, to the supporters throughout the world, we all desire PEACE. In a world that feels uncertain, there is often a longing for PEACE. Lifeline Malawi desires to be the hands and feet of Jesus- the Prince of PEACE in practical ways: through outreach in villages, HIV/AIDS counselling, medication for Malaria, children’s programs, wound care and maternity at the clinic. PEACE....a weary world rejoices! Please consider joining us in the important work being done at Lifeline Malawi, visit www.lifelinemalawi.com #advent #christmasiscoming #peace
Today marks the first Sunday of Advent: the four weeks before Christmas. Today, we consider the word HOPE- a feeling of expectation, to expect with confidence and to cherish a desire with anticipation. At Lifeline Malawi, HOPE is part of our very being. The staff provide HOPE in tangible and life saving ways. Through medical services at the clinic in Ngodzi as well as on outreach in neighbouring villages (see photos) patients are treated with care and compassion. From the under 5 clinics, to youth programs, to HIV/AIDS counselling and maternity, Lifeline Malawi is working together to empower the people of Malawi by investing for a healthy and hopeful future. This Christmas season, would you consider partnering with us in this work of HOPE? Please visit www.lifelinemalawi.com #advent2020 #hope #christmas
We are so proud of our youth friendly department at Lifeline Malawi for sharing a health talk at a local primary school! We value our community and the safety and health of all its residents. As the holidays are approaching, we would ask you to consider making a donation to Lifeline Malawi in order for us to continue this most important work. www.lifelinemalawi.com Stay tuned for our 4weeks of Christmas campaign! #malawi #itsthemostwonderfultimeoftheyear #donatetoday
