We also offer hybrid care, a combination of in-person treatment and virtual care, if you're not always able to attend an in-person session.... We all suffer from tight hamstrings sometimes, especially if you do a lot of running or sprinting in sports. Stretching your hamstrings regularly can minimize the chance of injury. Luckily, it's easy to do! #TuesdayTip 1) Sit near the edge of a chair with your feet flat on the floor 2) Straighten one leg with your heel on the floor and toes pointed upwards 3) Bend forward at the hip, keeping your spine neutral... 4) Hold this stretch for 30 seconds, repeating 2-4 times 5) Switch legs and do it all again! One of the best tools for a good at-home workout is a set of resistance bands: they're lightweight and versatile, able to workout any part of your body, including your arms! Bicep curls are great for a medium-intensity exercise. Simply stand on the band with your feet shoulder-width apart and even lengths on either side. Stand with your back straight, face forward, and bend your elbows, holding your curl and flexing your biceps at the top for 1-2 seconds. Use slow, controlled motions so the bands don't snap or slip, and perform 2-3 sets of 10-15 reps for a solid workout session! #TuesdayTip

Are you feeling discomfort in your lower back, or knees and ankles? The piriformis muscle, located deep beneath the gluteal muscles, might be the culprit. This muscle plays an important role in hip flexibility and stability, so giving it a good stretch can help relieve that tightness! Lie down, bend one knee upwards and cross it over your other leg while gently pulling, and hold for 30sec-1min and release. Try out three sets, three times a day, and feel the relief! #TuesdayTip

A good way to work on your mental health is by practicing self-care. Despite lockdowns and winter weather keeping us home, there are still many great ways to focus on yourself! You can take time to thoroughly clean and organize your home, or practice mindfulness meditation or yoga. You can also give yourself a fun challenge with leisure-related goals (reading, watching movies, making art) or trying to cook new recipes for the family! #TuesdayTip
