Are you feeling discomfort in your lower back, or knees and ankles? The piriformis muscle, located deep beneath the gluteal muscles, might be the culprit. This muscle plays an important role in hip flexibility and stability, so giving it a good stretch can help relieve that tightness! Lie down, bend one knee upwards and cross it over your other leg while gently pulling, and hold for 30sec-1min and release. Try out three sets, three times a day, and feel the relief! #TuesdayTip

Do you experience pain on the outer side of your hip? As our every day movement has decreased over the past year, hip pain has become more common. You can work on minimizing that pain by getting up and moving frequently, and avoiding bringing your knees across the midline of your body or crossing your legs. You can also reducing the intensity of your exercise program to see if that is having an effect. #TuesdayTip
