In response to CMOH Order 29-2020, Lifestyle Options Retirement Communities would like to advise you that we are in the process of implementing new visitation protocols, both outdoors as well as in designated private rooms within the building, to ensure the continued health and safety of all residents in our care as well as our staff. We understand there needs to be a balance between protecting residents and staff from the virus, while ensuring safe and meaningful connections with family and friends. At this time, our current Visitors Policy is still in place. Visitors are not authorized entry of any Lifestyle Options building; except in the case a resident is at the end of their life. Outdoor visits may still be scheduled and enjoyed. We will have detailed policies and procedures outlined by Thursday, July 23, 2020.

Happy 100th Birthday, Noreen! Noreen, who has been a Lifestyle Options resident for over 13 years, celebrated her 100th Birthday! Unfortunately, with visiting limitations in place, she was not able to spend it with many family members. We made sure she had a special day!

Our wonderful staff at Lifestyle Options Schonsee created these lovely "Hug Kits" as a way for family members to hug their loved ones during Outdoor Visits after many months of no contact. Here you see Adele giving her mother, Juliette, LOTS of much anticipated hugs. We will be implementing the "Hug Kits" at all of our locations over the next week or so.

We had an incredible time celebrating Seniors Week! Lots of fun activities and laughs.

Our newest Retirement Community, Lifestyle Options Schonsee, celebrated their first Anniversary on May 27th. They had a toast and sparkling juice to celebrate!

We had beautiful weather yesterday for our Outdoor Country Concert with Sean Gristwood at our Terra Losa location.

We received a couple drawings from students at Pollard Meadows Elementary School thanking our essential workers.

Instead of multiple pe...ople arriving to deliver gifts they have requested one mass delivery. We will be offering you free delivery for these locations, delivery will take place May 8 to ensure staff are available and prepared to process the shipment accordingly. Deadline to order is May 6. Leduc Fire Services Pipes & Drums held a musical performance outside of our Leduc location this past Saturday (April 25, 2020) as a way to show their respect to our frontline workers and a way to boost morale for our residents. Local RCMP were also in attendance. <3 Leduc Fire Services

As a way to bring more smiles and joy throughout our buildings, we partnered with students in grades 1 through 6 from Windsor Park School for a writing project! Residents were very excited to receive letters. Some have taken the time to write back to the students. Thank you!

Though Birthday Celebrations arent quite the same these days, on April 21st, one of our residents day was brightened with a Birthday visit from his family. Happy Birthday, Neil!
