The woman we read about in Luke 7:36-50 was extravagant in her love towards Jesus. She cracked her jar of oil, releasing every last drop of the precious substance. This was not just generous, but humbling as this woman, broken as her jar, came to wipe the feet of Jesus with her hair and her tears. Her act of love was considered wasteful and excessive by many of those around, but Jesus commended her for what she did. As you meditate on this story, ask yourself, what would extr...avagant love look like in your life this week? Towards Jesus? To those around you? Lest we forget. Our freedom has been purchased by such a great sacrifice that many of us will never know in our own lives. Today we honour those who fought for the peace and freedom we have today. May we be inspired by their examples of sacrifice and selflessness as, in our own way, we fight for the freedom of those around us.

We are so grateful for the incredible people that make our our Lifetree family! What a blessing to hear from 3 of our family this weekend: Gary, Nikki, and Wade.
