Hello everybody hope you have all enjoyed the latter end of this great summer .... (Weather wise anway ) As September fast approaches our blue skies may become less and less but remember the birth stone for this month is sapphire which most of you will know as blue . Sapphire is available in an array of colours but with blue sapphires you will see them from dark (sometimes almost Navy ) to light cornflower blue. Below are some of the many rings I have custom made over the... years with Celtic design , Traditional and Two Tone . Hello Everybody ....Well its August already and hope you are enjoying this long weekend. As you may already know the birthstone for this month is a green stone called Peridot . Speaking of green I would like to share with you this custom made Emerald and Diamond ring I made for a client in Alberta . Marianick had contacted me back in March to create a ring for her that incorporated the designs from both her engagement and wedding ring which I had made back in 2005. Afte...r a couple of phone calls and many e- mails to establish both our ideas I started the process by putting together a rough sketch ( Photo 1) Once that was agreed upon I moved onto the next stage which is a computer generated Art work (Photo 2 Once the Art work was approved by Marianick I moved onto the selection of the emerald size and colour (photo 3) The next stage now is the actual making of the ring ( photo 4 & 5 ) And video of the finished piece
