The CRA has shut down its online services after thousands of accounts were breached in a cyber attack. The type of cyber attack against the CRA is known as "credential stuffing" where usernames and passwords from previous cyber attacks are tried by hackers on various websites. This is an important reminder to use unique usernames and passwords for each online account you use.... We recommend that you use a password manager such as 1Password or Last Pass to help you create unique usernames and passwords for each online account you use.
