All set up at the @thehenhouse_localmarket Our first store front and we couldn’t be more excited! We moved in on Saturday and set up all of our candles on display! Wow is it ever gorgeous inside with so many other small businesses! Grand opening is on Saturday, November 13th! Okay here goes! I meant to post this a couple days ago but better late than never! On October 1, 2020 we launched our first candle collection! We have made a year already on this candle journey. And we couldn’t have done it without you! I just want to say from the bottom of my heart a huge thank you to everyone that has supported us! Whether it be with following us, with likes or comments. Or buying our candles and lighting them for your own enjoyment or for gifting them to o...thers. It is all appreciated and makes us jump for joy when we see the little things! Makes us small business owners so happy! Sooo, on another note.. this post is a little sneak peak of what’s coming to our little shop! We had meant to launch it for our 1st anniversary, but things took a little bit longer behind the scenes! The first day of fall What a perfect day to launch our fall collection! This rainy weather calls for curling up on the couch with a fuzzy blanket, a cup of coffee and of course lighting a candle! It’s September! Is it too early to get all things fall out? I am itching to get all of my fall decor out and have it all around the house!! Well one thing for sure is that I’ve been burning fall candles! Hint hint I am so excited to get these out to you all! You’re My Peach Mmm who loves eating those candy fuzzy peaches? I sure do!! I have a major sweet tooth! But we can always switch to a healthier snack! Peach slices are always a go-to around our house! Loving the smell of this peach candle!

Valentine’s Day Collection Launching February 9th! I’m not big on Valentine’s, but I figured why not give you all a couple new scents to tide you over until our Spring collection comes out! Only a couple of new scents for this collection but it’s something that you will all love! p.s. set your alarms and reminders!

Candle Safety Who reads the safety label underneath their candles? Don’t lie I know you don’t don’t worry I never did either until I started this business! While candle burning is at its peak this time of year, it’s a great opportunity to remind everyone of a few important tips to burn your candles safely! ... Never leave a candle burning unattended. Trim your wicks 1/4 every time before lighting. Keep candles away from any flammable items. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Discontinue use when only 1/2 of wax is left in the bottom. Lastly, soy wax has a memory so the first burn of your candle should reach all sides of the container to ensure you the cleanest burn and the best burn time of your candle.
