This is a great quote when thinking of Clutter, so you can have a cluttered home and some of the clutter could be you have items in an area of your home or office that belong in another part of your home or office. So start decluttering by moving items in your home into the correct rooms for them, then in each room you can see a little more clearly what you may no longer want or need in your home and thus get rid of the items. Before & after of a Bedroom, the client needed their space back as it had been taken over by the home business. We began the process with a free assessment, this is a chance for the client to make it clear what they are looking for in their space so we can come up with a plan of action to make her vision a reality. The client said they would move all items belonging to the home business downstairs to move them out of the living space. The basement became the home office spac...e and storage area. Upon returning all home business items had all been removed and put downstairs. We then worked on the living space to make it theirs again, put a system in place that would work to keep them organized, one they could maintain. We also worked on the downstairs, home office and created a space that had storage as well as a place for clients to come and meet if needed. They invested in shelving for their storage area as it was missing from the space and was needed for organization purposes. Before & after of a Basement, decluttering and organizing was needed for this space. The client let me know she would like to utilize her basement for various things and in the state, it was in she could not. The floor was so covered you could not see the floor. We began the process with a free assessment, the client let me know her vision for the space and the zones she wanted to create an area for the kids to play, storage for seasonal items (like Christmas & Halloween d...ecorations, camping and, skiing gear), crafts, an area to store tools with her work bench and an area for laundry. The client said she would remove all items that were large, and she knew they did not want to keep. Upon my return, we worked to start to create the zones she spoke of. We had to clear out a space all together and then put things back in that would be for that zone. So, for the kids play area, we found items around the basement that were placed in that area, then we created piles keep, donate, sell, garbage, and recycle.
