What are we looking forward to? We are entering 2021 with a positive attitude and optimism that this Covid 19 pandemic will be under control by July. And with that we're passing along this info...our 2020 line up has been offered first right of refusal for 2021 and so, pending their availability, we will be presenting on our Bruce Telecom Main Stage: Ghost Town Blues Band, Scott Holt, David Rotundo, Miss Emily, Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar, Vanessa Collier, Amanda Fish, Murr...ay Kinsley & Wicked Grin, FOG, The Shewolves, Shakey Trill. As well as these artists, our four stages for our Saturday Street Festival are packed as well! And we're happy to announce that Bruce Telecom has returned as our title sponsor and the Canadian Union of Skilled Workers is our Main Presenting Sponsor for 2021! HUGE NEWS! Yes, we're planning on a Bruce Telecom Lighthouse Blues Festival on the second weekend of July, 2021 AND we welcome the Canadian Union of Skilled Workers as MAJOR Sponsors! Their support will let us take our festival to the next level!!

For the last 10 years on this day I'd be heading down to The Bruce to meet up with Mike Manuel Vicki Manuel and his crew from London Music Hall who would be set...ting up our main stage for the Lighthouse Blues Festival. This week would have already been busy with site preparations handled by our core volunteers from Kincardine & District Lions Club, putting up fencing, banners, canopies, positioning dressing room trailers, signage, tables, portable washrooms, etc. But none of that happened this year...like a lot of other events that have been cancelled because of this pandemic. I'm sadden by the fact that we won't be presenting some 35 incredibly talented artists over the next three days, most who, as professional musicians, haven't worked since last March. Artists like Ghost Town Blues Band, Samantha Martin, David Rotundo Band, Amanda Fish, Vanessa Collier, Scott Holt.... the list is long! I'm disappointed that I won't be seeing all of those blues fans, who over the years, have become friends, coming in from Ottawa, Thunder Bay, Sault St. Marie, the GTA, Hamilton, Kitchener, London, etc. And as exhausting as the three days have always been, I'm going to miss the exhilaration that I felt watching so many people coming together on this weekend just to hear and enjoy blues music. We know you've been wondering... Our Board of Directors for the Bruce Telecom Lighthouse Blues Festival are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation on a daily basis and are prepared to take further action as needed. We are feeling cautiously optimistic that things will be safe at the time of the festival, and that folks will be ready to have some fun! From an organizational perspective, all 35+ artists have been been booked and are hoping to perform follow us on Facebook and we will provide ticket information as soon as we’re able to confirm that we are a go!

Maybe with all the stress and worry about COVID-19, now is the time for some good news... our Bruce Telecom Main Stage line up: Friday July 10 Ghost Town Blues Band, Vanessa Collier, Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar, Murray Kinsley & Wicked Grin, FOG Blues And Brass Band. On Saturday July 11 Scott Holt, David Rotundo Band, Amanda Fish, Miss Emily, SheWolves, Shakey Trill. Plus another 25 artists playing on our 5 stages during the free Saturday Street Festival and our Sunday Morning Gospel Revival.
