Lightning will officially be CLOSED due to province wide lockdown from December 26th, 2020 until January 23rd, 2021. The last day we will be open is December 23rd. Good Evening Lightning Families, I wish I was not writing this update but once again we find ourselves in another province-wide shutdown as of December 26th. All competitive and recreational programming is cancelled until January 23rd, 2021. Competitive Families - All January payments will be placed on hold and scheduled to resume in February assuming we are back to our regular schedule as of January 25th.... Recreational Families - All January payments will be placed on hold and credits will be placed on your account for lost classes. Our last day in the gym will be Wednesday December 23rd as we were already planning to be closed for the Christmas holidays. Despite the uncertainty that has overshadowed most of this year, I hope that you are able to enjoy some time celebrating with your immediate families during the holiday season. Recently we have had two new things installed to help with the quality of air in our gym. The first is Life breath that is meant to keep air fresh. The other is second wind. This has the potential to deactivate the coronavirus and other common infections. We have placed these in all of our vents throughout the gym! FALL RECREATIONAL SCHEDULE This is the updated schedule! We now offer CoEd Basic and Beyond 6-9 years. We have also changed the times to allow for longer cleaning time between each class. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to send a message!

RECREATIONAL IS BACK!! Starting Tuesday September 8 we welcome back more recreational classes into the gym. We have already had some recreational classes in the summer and they went so well we decided to open up even more classes! Here is a video of the gym, as well as some photos, showing some changes we have made. We have marks throughout the gym representing 6-feet apart to assist with physical distancing. As many of you may know it was my (Coach Emily’s) last day with Lightning on Friday. And while I am very sad to leave I am also extremely grateful for the nearly 10 years I have spent with everyone in the Lightning community.
