Repair Rebuild Repurpose Resell... I have been working in my home studio, not a lot has changed for me. But I can see a lot is changing for a lot of people. I’m still building beautiful things for customers and for my online store. I’d like to remind everyone how simple getting a ring sized, so it fits right, can be. Simple repairs can restore you jewellery to like new! Rebuilding and Repurposing are also an option. While thinking about what the #1 ‘problem/question’ I’ve encountered in this industry, it would definitely be ‘reselling’! So what I proposing is a platform/person to handle the resale of your jewellery. What do you do if you want to sell your old unwanted jewellery? Here’s what I tell people. You rarely recover 100% what you paid for a piece of jewellery. You can get scrap gold prices, $10-13$ a gram, sure that’s an option. Next, sell it privately, if you can find someone who loves it as much as you once did, maybe... So I’m going to offer a consignment type service. Get in touch with me, we can evaluate, agree on a sale price and I will offer your jewellery for sale to buyers in the market for just that. It’s a win/win. I still need to work out some details but my fee would come in the way of a percentage of the sold item. If an appraisal is required (on high ticket items) a few will be applied. I have a platform to help sell your items. Either to people looking for stones for a custom piece or someone looking for exactly what you have but no longer enjoy wearing.
