Good morning everyone!
My latest acquisition for my finely curated Fibres of Perfection stash house: @akarayarns Merino DK, Colourway Puto Bumbong #hatemeifyoumust #yarnjunkie #yarnhoarder #yarnstaah #yarn #sabler
This Prism by @tanisfiberarts is my jam right now. On the second sleeve of a shrug, and it's just so fun to knit with!
A gift from a friend who really gets me. Thanks @woolydandy
Home is where the cat is.
Just after I gave away all my unwanted yarn, this appeared on Newmarket What's Happening. Message Dianne Fasullo Wood if you have any spare yarn.
It was a pumpkin patch kind of a day.
Wow! Even the NY times covered the death of Cat Bordhi.
My latest @knitmuch blog post is out! You'll find the link in bio Link.tree I used this super bulky Be Cool yarn to make a luscious, squishy rug. It only took me one weekend!!! There's links to download the free pattern, and lots of help in my blog!
Genre mashup: 1920's film star with a apocalyptic futuristic twist. My first day back working @unwind_yarn_house in half a year. Life is so strange now, but everyone was so sweet today.
I bought this painting at the Newmarket Group Of Artists' Art Show. I'm in love!!! Such an extraordinary artist, Diane Serapiglia. The show is still going on today & next weekend. You can just drop by if you haven't booked as there's often still healthy safe space. If you want to guarantee a spot to view more work by Diane, Matsu Jewellery, Heike Blohm, and other incredible local artists; book it by going to: www.newmarketgroupofartists.org/upcoming-events.html
Ok, ok last one for awhile...but damn Jupiter is so adorable!
Someone has developed a bit of a shoe fetish.
So I've been holding back photos of this super cozy rug I knit until the posts about it were up on Knitmuch.com They're on the website now. There's a tutorial on making an invisible cast on that doesn't require a crochet hook, and links to this free rug pattern. My rug now sits in front of my wee fireplace, and it's so squishy whenever I walk across it. And it only took me a weekend to knit from cast on to the blocking pads.
Ewe's gonna love this sheep in a hat!
If you need a moment of Canadian calm this is my sister kayaking with a loon. No, not me, the bird loon!
A gift from my sister means that I get to sleep with the alpacas. Wait, is that a wool mafia euphemism?
A great loss to the knittng community.
If only I had time to knit this morning!
Meet Little Bear. He was our host dog at Sunshine Cottage.
When you love your FO so much it might just be worn to bed.
Latvian braid and Icord bind off make this a very slow moving border section, but it's gonna be gorgeous.
