Hello KNIGHTS families! We are so excited to have our students back tomorrow! We know they’ve been comfy at home learning last week so we are going to carry over that comfort and have PJ DAY tomorrow! Please no blankets or stuffies. It’s going to be an awesome day!

We are having SPIRIT DAYS each day next week- January 11-15th! Monday - PJ DAY - why not! We have all been learning in our PJS for about a month so we will carry that over on MONDAY! Tuesday - Tropical day! - It is January, we wish for warm weather and a bunch of sunshine! Wear your shades, your bucket hats, and your tropical shirts! ... Wednesday - Wacky Hair Day! Don’t bother brushing your hair today! Make it creative, make it messy, just have bed head! That is all great! Thursday - Hat day! - Your Favourite! Wear a hat of any shape or size! Friday - Jersey day or school clothing/colour day! Wear a Jersey of anything LS or Red!

We had a little fun in our hallways before The winter break and we wanted to share! Happy New Year to all of our KNIGHTS families and friends! The best gift will be to have our students back with us on Monday, January 11th. Until then please enjoy a little cheer from our Staff!

For the month of December KNIGHTS Staff and Students were recognized or exemplifying what it means to be a KNIGHT. Congratulations to 101 knights who were nominated for embodying what it means to be a KNIGHT! This months Wheel of names winner is Shelby D! She will receive her prizes when we return to in class learning in January.

Thank you to our incredible community for your support, grace, and thoughtfulness as we navigate this new adventure! Our KNIGHTS Families are the best! From virtual hugs, words of encouragement, and offers for anything we might need, our staff and students are grateful. Thank you! Once a KNIGHT always a KNIGHT!

November and December felt like it blurred together and here we are celebrating our KNIGHTS of the month! November saw 101 KNIGHTS nominated for exemplifying KNIGHTS character! KNIGHTS were nominated in each category and some KNIGHTS were nominated multiple times! It is always incredible to see our KNIGHTS embody characteristics that will serve them well as contributing citizens and ambassadors of rural public education! Congratulations goes to Olivia P who was the winner of November’s KNIGHT Of the month! She will receive her prizes when students return to in class learning in January.

Today we honoured Canadian Veterans who are currently serving Canada and have served Canada in the past. At 11:00am we participated in a virtual assembly to show our thanks, honour our Veterans, and remember the sacrifices they have made for our freedom and our safety. We will remember them. Thank you to our KNIGHTS families who serve Canada and sacrifice to ensure our freedom and safety.

October KNIGHTS recognition saw 99 KNIGHTS recognized for their KNIGHTS character! Congratulations to everyone! They were nominated across the KNIGHTS acronym with the majority being recognized for being Keen! Our Wheel of Names determined Sydnie Z to be our Prize winner for October! She won $25 for our book fair, free bowling at St. Albert Bowling and received a pair of Knights Sweatpants! ... Congratulations to all of our KNIGHTS! Your hard work is awesome to see!
