Say it ain’t so! The Lillooet Memorial Curling Club would like to see you curling this season! We need your membership to make it happen. The club needs 50 curlers to register and pay fees in full for the 2020 season. $400 per member for participation in 2 leagues! So here I am thinking about how my cousin Guy Ness tricked me into joining the curling club. Thinking I don’t want to play this stupid game! Well it’s not a stupid game in fact it’s several games all rolled into one, great fun,strategic and can be very competitive! But the best part of curling is all the interesting people that I’ve had the privilege to get acquainted with! I’ve made a lot of good friendships that I never would have if I didn’t curl. Not that there’re not nic...e people they just run in different circles. Well my point to all this is. this weekend would have been the 18th April fool’s bonspiel that I would have participated in, going to miss all of the friends that I’ve made, that keep coming back. Covid 19 caused us to close this event this year to be safe! So I respectfully hope that you all will practice social distancing and come back to us safely Thank you maybe see you in the fall?!
