You can message us through this page or email: [email protected] for information about seed borrowing, what the library has in stock and what you might have available for the library.
In the current situation, we will, sadly, not be looking forward to a Seedy Saturday (or Sunday) in 2021, but you just have to take in the Virtual Seedy Saturday conference if you have any interest at all in seed saving, growing and many other topics. Via Zoom, lots of great talks. Registration by donation (suggested $15) and register at http://www.bcseeds.org/registration/. There is also a community (local area) session on the 21st. Register here: https://us02web.zoom.us//tZwrceGvrDwjHd2Kx4jDvm-lROi7aPW3w. That one is free.
BEANS! Easy to grow, nutrition powerhouses ... Here's what we have in the Seed Library box: Hance's - donated; what we know 100 years old (variety, not seeds), grown locally, Amlec donated a bunch as did others - sprawling bush. Lena's Scarlet Emperor (runner), Broad Windsor, Polish Pea Bean (pole), Tigers eye (bush dry - old seed), Taylor's Horticultural (dwarf bush-red and tanned streaked, old seed), Black turtle ((drying; short semi-climber), Anne's Tasty Green Pod (po...le, fresh or dry), Dutch Brown Drying bean ('13 seed), Purple peacock pole, Kentucky Wonder pole), Bue Lake pole, Carson bush yellow, Blue Jay (early, bush, snap bean), Walcherse White, dry, bush, 100 days, '13 seed), Gold Rush bush, Hidatsa drying beans (dark red seed, climber, '15) Fava beans (like it cooler,2'), Taylor Cranberry (bush for drying, red out, brown seed, dwarf), Black Mitla Tepary bean. We have some soy beans as well, although they're low on the yummy list ... See more

We have seeds! Want to try something new? Or want a few different varieties without paying per package? Just starting out? We can help. We have commercial and locally grown seeds. Under current conditions, we can't put our seeds out, but I will start listing varieties on this page and on the Lillooet Gardeners page, and if you are looking for something specific, let me know. I'll pack up for you and leave for pickup, or might be able to deliver. Or even mail.
