The earlier, the better works for me.Mondays and Tuesdays are my grocery shopping/baking/prep days so once I’ve decided on the menu, I can plan better for how much to buy and prepare. You can definitely order the days I’m open but if I’m crazy busy, I may not be able to fit you in or even get to the phone and I could be sold out of what you want if the orders come in too late. Good morning! The fine folks at Mossback Farms brought in some delicious and super nutritious greens to put on your sandwiches.Arugula, radish, pea shoots and sandwich greens, they taste amazing! There’s a big pot of chili on the go and cheesy broccoli cheddar soup too.I have a little bit of Smoked ham and bean soup and the Sweet Potato Coconut Curry soup left as well.

Hi and thanks again for all the kind words and condolences on the passing of my Gramma.I appreciate you all so much The funeral is today so I won’t be open this week. Since Christmas is around the corner and going to be a bit weird this year, I was thinking of opening Tuesday & Wednesday next week and will take reservations for dine in, 1 table at at time due to spacing restrictions. I haven’t decided on the menu options yet but noodle bowls are definitely one of them.Im open to suggestions if you’re craving something.

Sad news today.My beloved Gramma, creator of a million memories, a beautiful family and the best kitchen in the world, has gone to be with Grampa. I’m heading home to be with everyone today so I won’t be open for lunch. I don’t know yet when the funeral is going to be so I’m not sure how next weeks schedule will look, but I’ll keep you posted.

Help!Does anyone have a glass or clear plastic cake display cover?I just broke mine and the only one in town I can find isn’t tall enough to cover a layer cake. I’ll buy it or trade a lunch for it!

Today marks 2 years!!Time flies!!Im grateful to all of you for the love and support for making my little project a success! I’ve got Gramma’s Beef Barley on the go as well as Roast Chicken with a Red and Wild Rice blend for soups. Sandwiches are Cranberry Walnut Chickwn salad with apple and coconut (so yummy!) and Smoked Ham. Dessert is White Chocolate Raspberry cheesecake, Chocolate chunk brownies and cookies! Good morning and welcome October!One of my favorite times of the year! It has been a very hectic couple of months and this summer seemed to just fly by in a flash, but FINALLY we are settled in to our fantastic new home, renos are done(for now), my amazing fiancé built me a great pantry and my kitchen is so freakin’ organized I can’t even believe it! It all took a bit longer than my impatient self was expecting, but it has certainly been worth every minute. My ankle is fe...eling pretty much back to normal now that I’ve had a bit of time the last few days to actually sit and relax a little bit. Thank you all for your patience and all the lovely messages I’ve received and know that I’ve missed all of you too We had a serious health scare with my Gramma recently and my family will be doing an early Thanksgiving before my aunt and uncle fly home. So grateful she’s on the mend now! The next two weeks I’ll be busy spending some much needed time with family and friends, looking after some necessary odds and ends and getting restocked and ready to roll for reopening on Wednesday, October 14th. Hi!Hope everyone enjoyed the short but sweet summer because it sure feels like fall now! Just an update on the schedule for the bistro....reno’s at our new house are a bit delayed so my kitchen is still in limbo. Also, it turns out my sprained ankle was actually me re-breaking an old fracture so it’s taking a bit longer to heal up, especially considering I’m not exactly taking it easy, as per doctors orders I’m going to aim for mid-September to open back up, I’ll hopefully be sorted out and settled in by then. Im missing all your smiling faces and I’m grateful for your patience

Hi!I was planning on opening this week for a few days but things are getting busy as we get possession of our new place on Friday.My kitchen at home will be in reno mode for a while as we get settled in. My ankle is also giving me some static so I’ve got an appointment in the city this week too. I may have possibly over done it last week. So I’m going to be closed for most of the month and I’ll keep you posted closer to September when I get my kitchen put back together!

Thursday I’ll make Lemongrass Chicken noodle bowls, as per all the requests! Also there will Broccoli Cheddar Soup with smoked ham or lemon roast chicken for sandwiches. Rhubarb Cheesecake and Chocolate Espresso Cake for dessert. Friday will be Butter Chicken with jasmine rice ...and naan. Hi!I hope you’ve all been enjoying this fabulous sunshine! I have some crappy news.Last week I sprained my ankle and as much as I am trying to take it easy and ice it and elevate it and talk very sweetly to it, it is to no avail.Its swollen, sore, very colorful and too fat to get into a shoe I’m not going to be able to make anyone lunch or yummy treats this week Giant thanks to Tina and Jay for everything the last few days, Corry for the crutches, Robb for being at Sobeys at just the right time and Andy for watering my plants!
