H U M A N B O D Y & M A T M A N Last week was such a fun week for us!! We learned about some of the organs in our bodies. We traced everyone’s bodies, glued and coloured the organs onto them! We also introduced a new friend into our classroom, mat man! ... \/ / \ Mat man, is a man made out of lines and curves. The fun part about mat man is every line and curve also makes every letter of the alphabet! We also had our first snow fall of the year last week and our friends had the time of their lives!!!

We had a delivery of our new Red Rods today! What to do with the boxes? Well break them open and create some art of course

~T H A N K S G I V I N G~ October 5-9 we learned all about giving thanks! We talked about what our families were going to have for thanksgiving dinner, if they celebrate thanksgiving!

O C T O B E R 19-23 What a fun week we had exploring LAND AIR ... WATER Our hard working preschool friends learned about the different vehicles that drive, fly and float and animals that walk, fly and swim!

Happy October to all our Lil’ Sprouts friends and families!! Last week was a fun filled week of learning all about G E R M S We talked about how we cough and sneeze into our germ jails and how important it is to wash our hands so we clean the bad germs off and don’t spread them to our friends!! ... We also talked about our F A M I L I E S We think it is so important to teach our little friends how everyone’s families are different, some are small and some are big but they all are filled with so much love!! At Lil’ Sprouts Preschool we have a classroom bucket and when we make good choices, when we are kind, and when we work hard the teachers put fuzzies in the bucket. When all of our bucket fillers have filled up our bucket, we have a special surprise!! Last week our friends wanted a PJ PARTY!! We are so proud of our hard workers!!

Last week we learned all about the season F A L L Our friends went on nature walks and collected all kinds of fun fall materials! We learned how leaves change colour and fall to the ground and that is how we know winter is coming!! ... We also learned about the parts of an A P P L E Our friends explored and coloured the different parts of an apple and we learned how apples look, feel, smell and taste!!

With things changing daily we want to ensure all our families we are doing everything to keep your littles loved, safe and having fun while at preschool we are excited to see our families September 8th

Although there are continuing changes and development within protocols and guidelines through Child Care Services, Lil’ Sprouts will remain closed until September. We would like to take this opportunity and time to ensure our facility is prepared to meet all measures required to put them in full action. We want to thank all of our current families, soon to be families, and the Grande Prairie community at large for your continued understanding and support! We appreciate how hard this has been for everyone during these uncertain times. Our main concern is, and will always be, the health and well-being of the families we have so grown to love
