Here's a fun transformation from today! 2.5" roots from "The Covid" with super blonde mids/ends. With the use of Schwarzkopf Blondeme and tons of cotton, I got those roots and ends matching without banding or breakage! Then, to have some fun, I made a custom mix with our vibrance line for this pretty lavender to soft pink color. Cute n sassy for summer and will fade out beautifully to that level 9 buttery blonde underneath. Who's next to try a funky tone with no commitment?? @ Limelight Hair Studio

Yesterday's color correction was a fun one! A. Because this lovely hasn't been able to see me for a while and was doing her color at home for the past year and B. She needed a new look for the new chapter she's starting in life! So brown box dye, yes we all know it's harsh, heavy and often flat, but we do what we need to right? Anyways, she wanted the length gone and to be brighter and more blonde.... Chop goes 6" of dry hair and darkness and then we highlight! A nice neutral level 6 for her base and sparkle coverage, with fine diagonal back slices throughout back and sides and vertical slices to cover her crown with sheets of brightness. Then we toned with NAG (thanks @iamginabianca !) and @schwarzkopfcan with their fabulous vibrance demi line. I used 9-1, 8-0 & 8-46 for this beautiful final tone. This lovely came in last month with some at home lightening gone awry. We chopped off a ton of the damage, which, because her hair is so thick is only barely noticeable, did some color balancing then toned her to beige blonde. Fast forward to today, for a trim, a tone and a deep conditioning treatment to baby those locks. We decided to try something fun and unusual for her; thanks to #schwarzkopfprofessional and their vibrance toners; 9,5-19 with a bit of 0-99 for extra kick at the roots, and voila this smoky lavender into palest champagne hue was fun final color. Even her roots still looked ok, which is great because there was no more lightening allowed quite yet. Last photo is inside. Isn't it crazy how the lighting changes a look?

TRANSFORMATION TIME To go from blonde to brown/black we did a color fill. Essentially putting back the pigment (in this case red) in the hair that was stripped out when it was lightened.
