LIMESTONE CITY CAR CLASSIC IS POSTPONED UNTIL SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2021! It is a great disappointment that we have reached a decision to postpone the show until next year. Regarding the health, safety and economic situation of our sponsors, spectators, event staff event staff and dedicated car show participants, the 8th annual Limestone City Car Classic scheduled for Saturday, September 5th, 2020 at Lake Ontario Park, has unfortunately been postponed until Saturday September 4th,... 2021. Following the increased and overwhelming concerns regarding the Cover-19 virus,as well as physical distancing and mass gathering limitations, our event team members felt this was the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented global situation. We are extremely disappointed that we are unable to hold this event for all involved. Our car show has become one of the premier events in the 1000 Islands area each year, attracting interest from both Canada and the U.S. All proceeds benefit the Kingston General Hospital Melanoma Clinic in memory of Melonie Beatty. To date the overall amount that has been collected and donated to the Clinic is in excess of $64,000. We wish to thank everyone for their support and understanding regarding this difficult decision and we look forward to seeing everyone in 2021 for what we plan to be the biggest Limestone City Car Classic yet!!!! For further information you may contact Brian Beatty 613-893-2230 or David Dick 613-389-3377

Yesterday we made our annual donation to the KGH Melanoma Clinic. Our donation for this year was $14,500!! This brings our 7 year total to nearly $65,000! I can not thank our volunteers enough for their support and effort in making this show a success. Also a big thank you to the car community in Kingston and surrounding areas like Belleville, Trenton, Brockville, Napanee and all parts in between. We had people from the U.S, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, it was great to see the support! And lastly the all the spectators that came out and saw great cars and support a great cause. Thank you so much! I will be posting next week pictures and trophy winners

Sincere condolences to Jake's family on his passing yesterday. Jake was a big help to the show every year since inception. He will be missed. I took this picture of Jake with his car at the Verona Car show on Aug 11th, 2019. Just received these two photo's from a good friend of mine and Jakes', Paul Wash who is also a local photographer took the photo of me taking Jake! The other is one that we are all so familiar with, Jake taking photo's with his iPad! Thank Paul

Well planning is under way for this years show! Mark your calendars, the show will be on August 31, 2019 at Lake Ontario Park in Kingston. Looking forward to a great show and seeing everybody again!
Yesterday was the room dedication for Melonie Beatty at the KGH Cancer Clinic! It was such an honour and humbling to see what we have accomplished with our fund raising over the last 6 years of putting on the Limestone City Car Classic show. Over the 6 years we have raised $50,200! I never thought that we would have raised that amount in that time period. It was very touching to see that Melonie's memory will live on and to see what it means to her family. I would like to again extend my sincere thanks to our committee of volunteers, all those that help us on show day and the great community of car enthusiasts that make all of this possible. Looking forward to seeing all of you in 2019!

Hi everyone, well on September 12th, we did our cheque Presentation to KGH Melanoma Clinic! It was such a proud moment to make our donation of $12,000 from this years show but more importantly we hit a milestone of $50,000 in our six years! Hitting this milestone means that there is a room dedication that will be made in Melonie's name. The room has been picked out and there will be a formal room dedication in November! Brian Beatty and Lorna Barker are so touched that their daughter will be remembered in this way.

Hi everyone just wanted to provide an update! I and Brian would like to thank all our volunteers who did an amazing job putting on a first class show!! But also a great thank you to all the car owners and spectators who support this show and our cause. Without your support we would not be able to do what we do. So thank you very much!
