Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 24th, is Pink Shirt Day. We encourage our boys to wear a pink shirt tomorrow to symbolize that we do not tolerate bullying and that we practice kindness everyday. We stand together to lift each other up and treat others with dignity and respect as we practice empathy, compassion and kindness. #linbrookschool

Today’s Halloween activities were outstanding and we are sure the boys had a wonderful day. The highlight was the introduction of our new school mascot! If only we knew the identity of our mascot! It was a memorable day and here are a few pictures of some of the many amazing costumes from the day. We wish everyone a safe Halloween weekend. This past month, our Grade 8 class has been learning about real world problems and putting their solutions into action! During science classes, they have been learning about water and how people in many countries do not have access to clean, sanitized drinking water. Last week, the class began the day with a STEAM workshop and the boys took on the role of an engineer. Provided with a ‘surprise’ bag full of resources, the boys’ challenge was to create a water filtration system using the least amount of resources given. Connections were made about how money and resources are limited in many areas. Finally, the boys also expressed strong views of how safe and clean water should be a human right. #linbrookschool
