This campaign is aimed at raising awareness about health inequities around the world. ... COVID-19 has brought a lot of extra challenges to already vulnerable communities. They are more at risk to be exposed to the virus and are less likely to have access to quality healthcare services to help when people do get sick. We have been receiving some questions from people who have been vaccinated about whether they still need to wear a mask or answer our screening questions when they come into our office for appointments. The answer is yes, masks will still be required and our Covid screening form will still need to be filled out prior to entering the office. Our Covid procedures of taking temperatures, asking patients to sanitize their hands, and our staff sanitizing the office between patie...nts have not changed. Being vaccinated doesn’t mean Covid has gone away or that all precautions are lifted. The vaccine will protect you from a severe case but there are chances that you can still be infected and pass it to others. Only a small percentage of the population have received the vaccine at this point and only a fraction of those have had both doses. One dose does not mean fully vaccinated.
