Qualifications: Current registration with Nurses Association of N.B. demonstrating strong clinical, communication, interpersonal, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Position Summary: The Director of Nursing is accountable to plan, organize, direct and participate in the care services of the Home and provide the delivery and management of quality nursing care to all residents in accordance with the vision and mission statement of Lincourt Manor Inc. The Director of Nursing practices within the scope of nursing as defined in The Nurses Act of N.B. and in accordance with the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics. The Director of Nursing participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing Three (3) years supervisory experience OR Diploma in nursing with Baccalaureate degree which includes or is supplemented by recognized courses in administration. Must be able to work, communicate and get along with elderly and disabled people. Must have good physical and mental health. Must have criminal record check clearance. Just a reminder to everyone that Christmas gifts can be dropped off in the front entrance. Please ensure they are in a gift bag and labelled. The sooner you get your gifts delivered, the better as the gifts need to be quarantined - We want to ensure residents have their gifts to open Christmas morning! - Thank you
