2020 HINDSIGHT BRINGING A NEW VISION This morning I received a Christmas Card from my sister-in-lawin the mail! In years past she has hand delivered them at our family Christmas Brunch which has been the first week of December for over ten years now. My husband has a large family and with our children, his siblings and nieces and nephews and dare I say great nieces and nephews, our numbers have grown to in excess of 50. It’s an event that we all look forward to and try ...to chat with everyone and catch up on the past year’s events. Sadly, this year we are not able to gather as a family. However, although we are not able to gather as a family in the same way we have done in the past, we can still gather as a family. A Facebook Group has been created for all of us to share pictures from Christmases past. It has been delightful and given us an opportunity to reflect on the growth within our wonderful family. I so miss the hugs from my children and my grandchildrenlove when those little arms wrap around my neck. The hugs are so heartfelt from the littles. When I am able to see them and we can hug again, I imagine the hugs to be so much tighter and longer, and heartfelt than ever before. In my minds eye I can hear them saying Grandma, not so tight you’re hurting me! Although 2020 has been a difficult year, we have had to be creative and think of new ways of doing things. Many of us have experienced Covid Fatiguethat’s a real hard thing for some to work through. We all feel it. Personally, I’m working very hard to create a new vision moving forward. To be creative and think outside the box. Trying to do old things in new ways, new things in new waysold things in old ways. (I feel like I’ve made more phone calls to family and friends in the past 6 months than I have in the past 6 years!) My hope is that we are all able to move forward through Christmas and into the New Year to a new vision!

Ponderings of COVID19. So...spent some time organizing my wardrobe last night. You know, the seasonal switch up...a little late in the year but the last few weeks have been hectic. Here’s the thing, why do I have so many clothes...why do I have a ‘seasonal’ wardrobe...anyone else?
