On my design wall is a long overdue commission. Sometimes it's just hard to get it done. I started this with good intentions and then it stayed on the wall until today. Now the sky is painted blue so that's good progress. More painting will take place after drying.

This pool toy reminded me that we need to hold on tight to our goals and enthusiasm despite set backs. . Like other artists, I have had all of my art and craft shows cancelled. Two of my major sales venues have been permanently shut down or closed. Still, I'm mostly managed to keep my motivation & feel part of the art community with Instagram & Facebook- because of your comments, likes & camaraderie. Thank you for helping me get through the pandemic so far.

How gorgeous is this? I just had to post this classic mountain shot. Taken on the way down from Maligne Lake near Jasper. Right after we stopped, an older gentleman stopped his camper, jumped out with a long-lensed camera and exclaimed that he had been up that road many times and never managed to be there when it was sunny. We were lucky!
