The new nephew

Gathered the pairs with steer calves to wean tomorrow. The dog made LOTS of miles this afternoon. She’s a little sore

Weaned the heifer calves today and took two loads of culls to town. I got to drive the new dodge instead of the old one..never going back.

The song All the leaves are gone keeps running through my head. They aren’t quite but there is a definite snap in the air.
