There's this wonderful phrase in Luke 24:41 when two disciples discover the man they are eating with is Jesus back from the dead ... They did not believe it because of joy! Ha! It is like someone who has driven the speed limit all one’s life, and never ever gone over 100 km/h. And then comes to a long, wide, smooth, empty stretch of highway with a sign that says, Please do not drive slower than 200 km/h. It’s just never been done. Is it safe? Is it right? Will I survive? It... sure sounds like fun. It would be amazing. But it’s just so crazy. Could I? Should I? That someone could come back from the dead. It is possible? Is it true? It sure would change things if it were so. Can I really hope for this? Oh yes you can! It's all true. Death is not the last word. Eternal life awaits. - Pastor Kris

Linda has worked diligently with her team to make quilts for local and international destinations via the Mustard Seed and MCC. Even during restrictions she and her team found ways to work on projects in their own homes, transferring and trading pieces as needed. Linda has lived in the community for 46 years, starting her days here as a school teacher. She and husband Nic have raised their family of four children here. Now as they retire you can often find them going for walks about the community. Linda also really loves sewing, serving others and watching her grandsons play basketball.
