We all know that pet costumes are super cute, but do our pets enjoy wearing them? Most pets do not like to dress up, so if you would like to try putting your furry friend in a costume, keep in mind they might not be so keen, no matter how good they look! Costumes can make pets stressed or uncomfortable, so it’s important to gauge their comfort level. If they don’t enjoy it, don’t force it!

You may be stuck at home, but if you’re still full of Halloween spirit, we bet you carved some pumpkins! If you have furry friends around, be sure to supervise them around any Halloween decorations certain plants can be toxic to dogs or cats, and plastic decorations can be dangerous if chewed on or swallowed. If you have a lit jack-o-lantern, keep pets away, as this can post as a fire hazard if tipped over!

Some pets can become stressed by the comings and goings of trick-or-treaters. If anyone is coming to your door this Halloween, or if you’re having a more low-key party, it’s important for your pet to have a safe space they can relax in. If people are coming and going from your home, remind them to keep an eye on the door so your pet doesn’t sneak out!
