Canada's "Mortgage Stress Test" has decreased for the first time since 2016 from 5.34% down to 5.19%, making it slightly easier for Canadians to qualify for a mortgage. For Example: If you were pre-qualified for $400,000, that could possibly be increased to $410,000. Similarly, if you were just shy of qualifying for a mortgage loan, this decrease could help. Seasonally and emotionally, it can feel really G R E Y lately... at least for me. ... Some are optimistic with the freshness of winter, but I on the other hand have had a major case of winter blues. In a way that has almost been crippling at times. I thought today - why not talk about it? I've never been a "real feelings on the internet" person but why not? . I was looking out my back door today and realized that I never go out this door in the winter, yet in the summer it's our main door. It brings us to the backyard, the garden, the BBQ, the garage. . I've been talking to some friends lately about this anxiety I've been feeling, only to realize it's something most (if not all of us) are going through. A good friend of mine said that I was the exact same way last winter. Really? Man, that actually helped me to hear that she noticed that. So it's true... I'm missing the sun. Another said to try Vitamin D and some St. John' Wort (and she agreed that it sounded gross). I'll do that. . Today looking out my back door I realized that the sun is coming back. That a lot of us feel this way. That it's better to talk about it. So I encourage you to look through summer photos today if you're feeling down and know that it's coming back! . And I CANNOT wait for my veggies again this summer! Look at those beauties!
