Always a great time meeting new zebrafish researchers and more senior colleagues. Just back from Uni. Toronto Scarborough after invited seminar talk. Much enjoyed discussing how to connect adult neurogenesis with brain circuitry and learning/memory with experts Tod Thiele (UTS) and Paul Frankland (SickKids). Some exciting questions await!

New Active Blue Tecniplast Zebrafish System up and running...now we just need some fish.

Super excited to welcome my first 2 trainees who are arriving into Winnipeg tomorrow. My lab is finally ready to go!

Two new students and a technician starting in 3 weeks, one lab that is near 95% ready (but not yet), med school lectures in progress for Sept, and equipment/supply orders pilling up in my colleagues labs/offices...the fun will start soon!
