They should not be reused. Dispose of them properly after visits to stores, labs, pharmacies, banks, doctors offices, or wherever you need to go. Then I recommend sanitizing the hands in your vehicles. We are going to be receiving alcohol wipes in the near future to wipe down steering wheels and other surfaces you arent able to immediately clean when on your brief travels! Most infections are due to viruses, which dont respond to antibiotics and are often self-limiting. Only select infections warrant the use of antibiotics. Overuse can lead to resistance , which can in turn eliminate options for successful treatment. How did you do on this quiz?

This article discusses the benefits and recommended supplementation with vitamin D. With a long winter ahead, taking this sunshine vitamin is a good idea for most of us. I supplement with 5,000 I.U. per day, and mix the drops in my daughters breakfast smoothies. Keep in mind that the darker your skin is , the less vitamin D your body is able to produce from sun exposure. My own olive-skinned father, who spends months a year in sunny Florida, was severely deficient as detected in blood work. Keep in mind that sunscreen is essential to protect from the harmful UV rays, but also decreases vitamin D protection, so supplementing year round is, in my opinion, a good idea.
