We’re bringing back Brandon’s Sweet Granny Apple for tonight’s #OutrageousBurger! Ground chicken blended with shredded gouda, apple butter, cumin, cilantro, salt and pepper, topped with apple butter-sauteed onions, more Gouda, fire roasted granny smith apple slices, a fire roasted red pepper ring, mayo, lettuce, tomato, topped with a slice of granny smith apple. Sooooo Gouda!

Lots of people waiting for this one! Backcountry Brewing has sent us only two small kegs of their Maple Bay Fresh Hop IPA featuring Maple Bay Hop Farm on Richards Trail!! This is a VERY limited production so get a pint of it while you can!! It’s AMAZING!!! We also have limited 4pk tall cans at the liquor store.

#MonsterBurger Saturday continues with Hannah’s Lock Jaw burger! A single lion burger patty with crispy bacon, cheese medley and BBQ pulled pork, then topped with béarnaise sauce, lettuce, tomato and Greek spiced onion rings on a pretzel bun! Better unlock that jaw... It’s HUGE!!!

The fact that Red Arrow Brewing brewed this beer so soon after the first sellout just shows how amazing it is. And you can ONLY get it on tap at the tasting room or here at our pub in Maple Bay! It's with both sadness & joy that we announce the retirement of Pam McCulloch, our liquor store manager since The Lion Rampant Private Liquor Store began 6 1/2 ...years ago. Dear friends, we have gone back to re-read the Provincial Health Officer's orders, especially the most recent one on September 18th, and realized that we need to step up our game. As such, we have updated our protocols. A new pub rules is attached, but here are the main changes: 1. You will need to WAIT to be seated. This provides the staff opportunity to ensure you seats are sanitized and distancing enforced. 2. We are taking a name & number for at least one person at each t...able. 3. You CANNOT switch tables, nor can you wander around the pub at all. The order states every patron MUST be seated, unless going to the washroom or entering/leaving the pub. Also, in response to several inquiries recently asking what "your covid rules are"... the rules are the Provincial Health Officer's orders. We have no leeway to alter them. Staff will be enforcing these rules fully. Please do not challenge them or make them uncomfortable - they're just doing their jobs to follow provincial mandates. Trust us... we want things to be back to normal as much you do, but that's just not possible yet. Thank you. Bruce Owner

Brody’s #MonsterBurger creation is the Easy Peasy Mac & Cheesy!! A panko-crusted bacon & Mac & Cheese patty topped with candied bacon, a 6oz lion patty and deep-fried jalapeños, covered with Tex-Mex cheese sauce and red onions on our brioche bun! Andale! Andale!

Hello folks! We are looking for pictures of the inside & the outside of the old Brigantine Pub, from the time before Brian/Anne/Dorothy/Murray/Dalton/Clare owned it, i.e. Brian Hebbert days and before! Also, if anyone knows who owned the pub / Maple Bay Inn prior to Delta Hotels (I believe it was Ray Wollam?) and even before then, please let us know!! We are also trying to put a true ownership history together, so any help would be really appreciated. Thanks much!!
