Lions Club of Grunthal

As Lions in Canada we are being challenged by the Lions of 5M13 (Manitoba) and 5M10 (Ontario) to consider making "no sew" blankets to be used for those in need. Some of you may be wondering what project can be done that involves no in-person gathering. Look no further! Included is a link for you to see what it is that I am talking about and how to make the blankets. They are super easy to make. https://www.instructables.com/No-Sew-Fleece-Blanket-1/ The plan is to collect... them all by May 31st, and donate them to institutions that treat children with childhood cancer. If we have too many blankets (what a wonderful problem to have) they could be donated to the police, fire fighters, EMS to distribute when they have children that they have to tend to. You may also have suggestions on where to donate the blankets. If you choose to participate, please share it with friends/family on your website and facebook page, and anywhere else you think you should/can.You never know when someone in the community is wanting to do a project and see what Lion's do - maybe even want to join a local club to help in the community!!
