We are very thankful for our campers and councellors for their great jobs on different activities during our virtual London Interfaith Peace Camp in July - August 2020!

London Interfaith Peace Camp wish many blessings to each and everyone one of you during this Thanksgiving

As of today's eveneing, several minutes before sunset, Our Jewish friends celebrate Yom Kippur which is the holiest day of the year. It is also known as Day of Atonement. The celebration continues till after nightdall on Monday Sep.28. For more informatoin, you can find few featured events on Temple Israel of London website https://www.templeisraellondon.ca/

During Rosh Hashanah holiday season, our Jewish friends participate in Tashlich. Tashlich is a tradition of throwing small pieces of bread or crackers into a body of water to represent casting away the sins.

During Rosh Hashanah, our jewish friends eat sweet food like apples, honey, honey cake and dip our Challah in honey.. this is a short video of our Challah

To all Jewish brothers and sisters who celebrate Rosh Hashanah today, we wish you a happy, sweet and healthy year Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year, in Hebrew it means head of the year.

We look forward to seeing you at our annual LIPC potluck. This year we go VIRTUAL! Join us 5:30pm tomorrow, Wednesday August 19th ! Our theme this year is Food and Faith. We are asking everyone to bring a similar side dish of bread at your dinner table- a homemade recipe or a favourite loaf from a bakery or something you have often! We look forward to seeing you there.
