Well, it has been a lot time since I have channeled my creativity into my blog and page, but I happy to say that I am back! I have had a lot of major life changes happen to me over the course of the past year, and I am very blessed and grateful to say that I am currently living in England pursuing my law degree. I am humbled at how far I have come and forever thankful for this opportunity to go out and pursue my dreams... Today I went to the Guru Nanak Gudwara in Smethwick w...hich is the first Gudwara but also the largest one in all of Europe. It is so beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. I've been going through a stressful time with work, and just also missing the comforts of my home. It is such a humbling experience entering a place of worship...It's a great cleanse for your mind and spirit. All my worries and stresses seemed to be so insignificant and I felt a sense of relief. I bowed my head in prayer and wished that anything which my loved ones are going through which is making them restless, or any hardship they are facing, that they can overcome that and they reach this euphoric state of peace of mind, body and spirit. Anyone who goes to the Gurdwara knows first hand, the prashad is the best part!!! Eating that hot "garam" halwa was so heavenly!!! The best part of this day, was sharing this religious experience with one of my new friends in my law program, who is also from Canada. It gives the experience a whole new sense of community and inclusiveness. Everyone needs an experience like this to cleanse their soul, purify their mind and to get any excess weights off of their shoulders...continue spreading that love and Rabh Rakha, may all your worries and obstacles be cleared up and hope there are happier days ahead for you x
